Well, headcanons specific to this blog. 

1) There is no specific time period. However, answers take place after the events of LoZ: SS. 

2) Fi learned a new emotion with each different Link she traveled with, making her more “human” so to speak.

It certainly has been too long, you’re Grace. I am well, as always. My appearance seems to be normal. It was because of the grey-faces and their magic that I seem to change shape so often. Fortunately, their y magic is only temporary and over time, I return to my original design.
